1. Who We Are

Stampography Inc. (“Stampography”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a Canadian company operating the Stampography mobile application and website at stampography.com. We are based in Ontario, Canada.

2. What We Collect

Information you provide

  • Account information: email address, password (stored as a secure hash), display name, date of birth.
  • Profile information: avatar image, bio, and location (all optional).
  • Content you create: any content you create or post in the app.
  • Reports: if you report content or other users, we keep a record of the report, the reason, and any notes you provide.
  • Communications: if you contact our support team, we keep a record of your messages.

Information collected automatically

  • Technical data: your IP address when you register and when you log in, your device type, operating system, app version, and crash logs.
  • Usage data: anonymized events about how you use the app (which screens you visit, which features you use) for product analytics.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and operate the Stampography service
  • Authenticate you and keep your account secure
  • Verify your age where required by the service
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service
  • Moderate content reported by other users
  • Send you transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, important notices)
  • Improve the product through aggregate analytics
  • Respond to your support requests

4. Legal Basis for Processing

Where required by law, we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Contract: we process your data to provide the service you signed up for.
  • Legitimate interest: we process technical and security data to prevent fraud and keep the service running.
  • Consent: we rely on your consent for any optional integrations you choose to enable.
  • Legal obligation: we retain certain data (such as financial records) as required by law.

5. Who We Share Your Information With

We share data only with service providers (“sub-processors”) that help us run the app. We do not sell your data to anyone. We share data with the following categories of sub-processors:

Each sub-processor has its own privacy policy governing how it handles your data. A current list of specific sub-processors will be made available on request to privacy@stampography.com.

We may also disclose your information when required by law, to respond to legal process, or to protect the safety of our users or the public.

6. International Data Transfers

Some of our sub-processors are located outside Canada. By using Stampography, you understand that your data may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in countries other than Canada, including the United States. We take reasonable steps to ensure your data is protected in line with this policy.

7. How Long We Keep Your Data

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access: request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction: update or correct inaccurate information, most of which you can edit directly in your account settings.
  • Deletion: delete your account and associated data. You can do this from your account settings, or by contacting us.
  • Portability: request a machine-readable export of your data.
  • Opt-out of sale: we do not sell your personal information to anyone. This right is listed for California residents under the CCPA.
  • Withdraw consent: where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

9. Children

Stampography is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@stampography.com and we will delete it.

10. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information:

  • All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS)
  • Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes, never in plain text
  • Access to production data is limited to authorized personnel
  • We monitor for unauthorized access and respond to incidents

No system is perfectly secure. If you become aware of a vulnerability, please report it to abuse@stampography.com.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email and through a notice in the app before the changes take effect. The “Last updated” date at the top of this policy indicates when it was last revised.


This document has been drafted for Canadian PIPEDA and U.S. CCPA compliance. It has not yet been reviewed by legal counsel and should not be considered final until such review is complete.
